A special night will unravel at Bedford Esquires this Saturday night (May 9), when Sonic Youth founder Thurston Moore pays a visit.
A prolific musician and writer, his collaborations through the years are too numerous to list, but span Yoko Ono to Lydia Lunch.
He has written and edited page turners including Sonic Death and the Ecstatic Peace Poetry Journal, composed music for films and recorded and toured solo, with a variety of ensembles and of course with Sonic Youth.
With the band currently on hiatus, Thurston's drive for creativity isn't about to be quenched any – late last year he release the solo album The Best Day.
Joining him for the Bedford date will be Debbie Googe and James Sewards and his SY collaborator, drummer Steve Shelley.
Tickets are on sale at £15, doors open at 8pm.
