SINGLE RELEASE: CJAY SWAYNE & JURNO PRESENT WHAT YOU DO
Two of the city’s top resident DJs have combined forces to release a dance music EP just in time for the summer party season.
CJay Swayne and Jurno, resident players at Revolution and Missoula respectively, have joined forces with talented Bletchley-based songstress Sarah Hart on the house track ‘What You Do’.
The song is part of a four-track What You Do EP released this Monday past by the Deeper Secrets record label
It features an original version, a radio edit, plus remixes from Dirty Secretz and Brent Anthony & Osca Deep.
CJay Swayne has produced official remixes for artists including Beyonce, Jay Z and Azealia Banks. As you might expect, he is full of enthusiasm for the EP.
“I’m really excited as it’s my first release with Sarah and Jurno, and the track has been received well with positive comments from DJs and music-lovers alike," he said.
“If I had to describe the song I’d say it’s a slice of summery piano goodness with vocals, that instantly brings sunshine into your life.
“The track was initially an idea from Jurno with the plan of me to remix it. After playing the remix out the guys at Deeper Secrets heard it and wanted to sign it as a standalone track, which now comes with brilliant remixes from Dirty Secretz and Brent Anthony & Osca Deep.”
Sarah Hart (top), who has supported Steps and headlined London Pride as part of girlband Concrete Rose, provides soulful vocals on the release.
“Sarah’s haunting vocals suit house music perfectly so I was delighted when she agreed to work with us – I think she’s going to have a very bright future in the music industry," Jurno said.
“This is all really exciting for me as it’s the first time I’ve signed a record contract and had a song on iTunes – I think my friends are already sick of me sharing it on Facebook!
“Hopefully the people of MK will get behind us and download it.”
