Slipknot have announced that the first ever UK Knotfest - a music and lifestyle event curated by the band - has been cancelled.
The multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning US group took to social media to make the announcement this afternoon.
The Iowa band were due to play Milton Keynes on 22nd August. The date would have been their first time back at the renowned venue since their legendary set at Ozzfest in 2001.

Writing on their official Twitter account, they said: 'Unfortunately Slipknot's summer 2020 touring, including the North American Knotfest Roadshow, Knotfest UK and Knotfest at Sea, will not be happening.
The band looks forward to performing for its fans again, and will do so when everyone's safety can be assured. All ticket-holders will be emailed directly with refund options.'
