Louise Distras is already garnering comparisons to charged songstresses Brody Dalle and Courtney Love, but this British indie punk rock songstress is already a woman in a league of her own.
In just three short years Louise has toured across the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA. She's shared stages with Mick Jones (The Clash), Billy Bragg, Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, The King Blues, The Damned, The Red Paintings and played at many festivals including Glastonbury.
Distras has been praised by Kerrang! who said she is "the most exciting voice in UK punk-rock right now!"
And this Bank Holiday weekend (April 16), she'll be live at Bedford Esquires.
Sunday night doesn't need to be a yawn if you spend your time in her company. Trust us.
It's been 18 months or so since Henry and the Bleeders have been in the building, but they are back in support at the show, which is being opened by Luton-based Hazard.
