The music stops at The Stables this week, but before the panic sets in, relax.
The Wavendon hub always takes a bit of a breather at this time of the year, for a few weeks.
But before they give the stage some respite, it'll get one more trampling this week - when Mick Ralph's Blues Band come hither.
First, Ralph's invented glam rock with Ian Hunter in Mott the Hoople. Job done.
But then he came back for a second bite bringing blues-rock with Bad Company, joining 'the voice' Paul Rodgers at play.
Ralph's is also credited with penning that rock staple, Can't Get Enough. We've all hummed that every now and again, right?
In our abode, we do more than hum it. We crank it up.
And Ralph's will be doing that himself this Friday night (July 24) with his other musical concern, the Blues Band.
This quintet gives him an outlet to explore his blues and r&b roots, and searing solos will naturally come into play too.
If a peculiarly British shuffle is to your liking, let the master show you how it's best served with his Wavendon return.
Tickets are £20 and you get them by calling up the box office on 01908 280800 or visiting www.stables.org
