THIS IS A CALL TO FOO FANS...
It's gaming, not music that will be engrossing visitors to MK11 this Thursday evening (Sept 4) with a Mario Kart competition taking over on the big screen.
"We love gaming and we have decided to stick it on a massive projector and get our games on!" said those in charge at the Kiln Farm watering-hole.
"Mario 64 was a way of life for many people and now it's time to show it the respect it deserves...bring on the pixels," they added.
Music rules once again on Friday (Sept 5) though, when a tribute to Foo Fighters comes to the stage.
Food Fighterz pride themselves on delivering 'a high energy, very authentic show and are the closest thing you will get to seeing the Foo Fighters live in your own backyard.'
Apart from those two days when they did play in our backyard, at the National Bowl, of course.
Music wise, they'll take you on a Grohl-given trawl through the FF back catalogue - from the first self-titled Foos album right through to Wasting Light.
They can't very well deliver from the newbie Sonic Highways yet, but everything else is a goer!
They might be the pretenders, but Food Fighterz will definitely get the party started - turn up, tune in, Grohl out!
