Flooding from a burst water main is affecting parts of Downs Barn and Downhead Park in Milton Keynes today (26 December.)
Crews from Broughton, Great Holm, Newport Pagnell, Bletchley and Aylesbury attended the scene after being called a 6.38am.
The body of water is estimated at 25 metres wide by half a mile long, and about 50 homes are affected. Water about a foot deep has entered 10 homes. Ground-floor electrics have been isolated and residents are currently staying put on first floors.

The roads affected are Loriner Place, Shannon Court and Farrier Place in Downs Barn and Windrush Close in Downhead Park.
Firefighters are pumping water into storm drains, using equipment to channel water away from properties and giving door-to-door advice.
Anglian Water are working to isolate the water supply. Once this has been done, firefighters will pump water out of the affected properties. It is hoped this work will be completed today.
