In the build up to Christmas this year, Milton Keynes shopping hub centre:mk welcomed more than half a million visitors through its doors from Friday to Monday alone, as shoppers finished their Christmas purchases.
The centre has seen strong footfall performance since Black Friday throughout the build up to the festive season, consistently exceeding the national benchmark figures.
Kim Priest, head of marketing at centre:mk said: "We are expecting another very busy day today, hundreds of shoppers were already queuing for the Next Sale from the early hours of this morning.
"The fact that centre:mk continues to out-perform against the benchmark reflects the centre's regional appeal and strength of offer.
"Undoubtedly the High Street is under pressure but key destinations like centre:mk are still delivering a strong performance."
Shoppers are out in force again today, as the centre welcomes bargain hunters keen to bag the best of the sale goods.
Savvy shoppers were queuing at Next (pictured) ready to snap up a bargain, and at the newly opened Lush store, dozens were waiting to pick up sale items - with prices slashed by fifty per cent.
