It is the biggest - and best - rock festival on planet earth, and its imminent return is causing waves of excitement among music fans.
Ladies and Gents, raise your fists and yell for the annual rock-feast that is the Download Festival!
It promises to turn the Marshall stacks to 11 (naturally) when it returns to the spiritual home of rock, Castle Donington, on June 9, 10 and 11.
Last year Rammstein and Iron Maiden headlined, along with Black Sabbath, who took top billing on the Saturday evening.
2017's headliners are just as fiery - System of a Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith will command, but they will be joined by a plethora of perfect noise-bringers, including Aussie rock aces Airbourne, Maryland’s finest Clutch and thrash stalwarts Exodus.
The Prophets of Rage are coming to the main stage too. If Download had a roof, they would blow it off!
Milton Keynes is being represented by Hacktivist who are Main Stage openers on the Saturday, with other strong contenders over the weekend including Mastodon, Ministry, Rob Zombie and thrash metal lords, Slayer.
Suicidal Tendencies and The Dillinger Escape Plan are both making return visits too.
New to Download in 2017 is The Avalanche Stage. It will bring you the biggest global acts to the latest breaking bands, so definitely keep one eye trained there.
You can check here for the full line-up.
It’s a marvellously metal billing, and Total MK has a pair of tickets up for grabs in this week’s big competition.
We have teamed up with organisers to offer one pair of three-day standard tickets with camping.
To be in with a chance of taking the goods, simply tell us which legendary band headlined Saturday night at the Download Festival in 2016.
