Deliveroo, the on-demand delivery service for high-quality restaurant meals, has launched in Milton Keynes this week.
More than 75 jobs will be created for local people in MK over the course of the first year, the majority being Deliveroo riders, who aim to deliver your food from the restaurant kitchen to your door in 32 minutes.
More than 15 restaurants have signed up to the service, meaning hungry residents around town can now get their favourite food from their most loved local restaurants including Wagamama, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Maaya and Orchid Lounge.
“We’re extremely excited to be launching in Milton Keynes and we’re looking forward to bringing some of the town’s delicious dishes straight from the hands of local chefs to customers’ door,” said Jeremy Rawlinson, General Manager at Deliveroo.
“Milton Keynes is a multicultural and prosperous area with a diverse range of chain and independent restaurants, and we have seen a real appetite for the service.
“We already have a number of great partners across the city and we are excited to expand and widen the variety of restaurants on offer to our customers in Milton Keynes over the course of the next year.”
Deliveroo is focused on providing the ultimate food delivery experience. Customers have the option to schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance or receive food as soon as possible between 12 noon and 11pm, from a variety of leading local, independent and high-quality chain restaurants, conveniently delivered to their homes and offices in an average of 32 minutes.
