Looking for love this Valentine’s? Look no further!
The Milton Keynes & North Bucks RSPCA is holding its 10th Valentine’s speed dating event on February 11.
Midsummer Veterinary Group in Stantonbury have kindly offered to open their doors between 2pm – 4pm to showcase the branch’s felines and help you find that perfect pet partner.
The event promises a fun way to meet the four-legged love of your life. Examples of the lonely hearts looking for loving homes include:
• White and black male, one year’s old, affectionate and playful. WLTM a family who can help build his confidence.
• Ginger and white male, five year old, slightly overweight but with own teeth, outgoing. WLTM a family with other cats for fun and frolics.
• Black male, three years old, stray, used to living alone. WLTM a single person or couple who enjoy quiet nights in by the fire.
• Tabby female, two years old, petite, a little shy and nervous. WLTM a happy family to help bring her out of her shell.
To help cover running costs, all those who do ‘fall in love’ at the speed dating sessions will be asked to donate a minimum of £60 for each cat.
All the adult cats are neutered, microchipped and are treated for fleas and worms. They will also have had at least their first vaccinations (for flu/enteritis/leukaemia). A home visit maybe required.
Rabbits will not be attending the event but you if are interested in meeting our small mammals please do get in touch. All adult rabbits are neutered and a small donation of £30 for each rabbit goes towards this cost.
Rabbits are social animals and are best kept in pairs. The cost for adopting a pair is £50.
