NEWS: Man jailed for burglary and theft in Milton Keynes

A man has been jailed for burglary and theft in Milton Keynes.

Tyler Waugh, aged 20 of Laconia Lane in Milton Keynes pleaded guilty to one count of burglary and theft at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday (December 17).

He was sentenced to eight months imprisonment.

It follows an incident on October 14 this year.  At around 7pm in Noon Layer Drive in Middleton, Waugh entered a house and stole a number of high value items.

He was arrested shortly afterwards and was charged the following day.

Investigating officer, detective constable Martin Camp said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the victims and witnesses in this case.

“Their support and information helped the investigation team and ultimately ensured that Waugh pleaded guilty to this offence.

“He will now spend time in prison as his actions caused distress to the victims in this case.”
