Putting on a coat and keeping the winter chill at bay is something most of us don't think twice about as we wrap up warm.
We don't think of it as a luxury, and yet for some people it's a luxury they don't have, and can't afford.
Milton Keynes resident Karen Phillips noticed a London Underground campaign to collect winter coats for the homeless, and sent a tweet out to the locality.
'Can we do this is MK?' she asked, and an overwhelming response came back: 'Yes we can!'
"I've been overwhelmed by the offers of support," she said.
"It's phenomenal! Coats are already pouring in and I'm so proud that Milton Keynes has shown what a great city it is by reacting in such a positive way."
The official launch of Wrap Up Warm MK is tomorrow (Wed, Nov 30) at MK Central Railway Station when commuters will be asked to donate their unwanted winter coats.
So come on folks, dig into the back of the wardrobe, and gather up last year's coats still occupying the coat rack and go donate - the campaign runs to December 18, so hurry along.
