Return to the trenches of World War I with Milton Keynes Theatre of Comedy (MKTOC) and their witty and historical production of Blackadder Goes Forth - the Final Push, which is coming to Stantonbury Theatre next week (September 18-22).
It follows on from their staging of the first three episodes in September 2017 - but you don’t need to have seen those to enjoy the next set!
Be prepared to laugh and cry as the cast perform the hilarious, yet heart-wrenching final three episodes of the Blackadder comedy TV series - Private Plane, General Hospital and Goodbyeee - written by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton.
What will happen to Captain Edmund Blackadder, his trusty sidekick Baldrick and his troop as they prepare ‘to go over the top’?
Will putting a pair of underpants on his head and shoving two pencils up his nose get Blackadder invalided back to Blighty?
You will need to book a ticket and take a pew find out!
As the production coincides with the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, MKToC will be raising money for the Royal British Legion each evening.
From the local group that have wowed audiences with stage adaptations of Blackadder the Second, Fawlty Towers, The Vicar of Dibley and Allo Allo and many more to the MK stage in recent years.
