A dinner with death? Tread the Boards present a tasty night at the theatre

You are being invited to travel back to the roaring twenties for the latest theatrical offering from local theatre company Tread the Boards – and they aim to make a killing!

For the first time they are venturing into the world of dinner theatre and presenting a Murder Mystery Night on Saturday 17 February at Longueville Hall, Newton Longville.

This one-night-only production presents the opening of a new speakeasy at the time of gangsters, molls and prohibition. Guests have the option to dress up for the occasion as they mingle with flappers, hoods and hoodlums.

There will be prizes for the best outfits. “Murder at Johnny’s” is set just a few days after the notorious St Valentine’s Day Massacre and the body count is sure to rise.

Those attending will need to spot the clues and work out the motives as there will be prizes for spotting a killer and how they carried out their dastardly deed. “Having celebrated 30 years putting on shows in Milton Keynes we felt it was time to offer something different for our cast, crew and audience, “ said Shirley Jones who is directing this venture.

“Our suspects will be intermingling with the audience and our hapless detectives need help to solve the puzzle.” Tickets are £22.50 but the group is offering a saving on bookings made before 7th February.

The cost covers the interactive performance and supper. Also on offer is a licensed bar. For more details click here
