ETC Theatre pull out the psychopathic rabbit as Spamalot returns to the Milton Keynes stage

Laughter seems to have been a little on the thin side in recent times. But all that is set to change with the arrival of Spamalot to the Stantonbury Theatre stage next week.

ETC Theatre are the ones ready to turn frowns upside down, starting on Tuesday (February 28).

Rather than us give you the spiel, we went straight to the horses mouth, in a manner of speaking, and asked cast member David Lovesy to give you the lowdown on the Monty Python classic.

"What’s special about our Spamalot?" he starts, "Well, it’s probably one of the most collaborative pieces I’ve been involved in for years.

"We have professional musicians, a dedicated dance troupe, well loved local comedy performers… over forty people involved in bringing it all to the stage… ensuring that the audience have a great night out!

"Based on the classic film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', the show has loads of favourite scenes from the film intertwined with original comedy songs and a psychopathic rabbit.
The whole thing comes together as a sum greater than its parts, and that’s “ni” joke!

"The version we are producing at Stantonbury is bigger in scope than the touring production, and more akin to the version first stage on Broadway and the West End.
"Big dance numbers, big songs (and powerful voices behind them!) all suggest a great show where you can all find your grail."
