Rock opera Godspell is being staged by the Wolverton Gilbert & Sullivan Society in the week leading up to Easter 2017.
Based on a series of Bible parables, mostly taken from the Gospel of Matthew, the show features many great songs, including Prepare ye the way of the Lord, Day by day, and All for the Best.
When the show first opened off Broadway in May 1971, it broke new ground in its stage treatment of the story of Jesus of Nazareth.
It has been regularly performed by professional and amateur companies ever since.
Performances began on Monday at St George’s Church in Wolverton, and your last chance to view is this evening (Wednesday) starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10, concessions £8, under 16s £5 and you get your mitts on them at First Night by calling 01908 510452 or click www.1stnight.co.uk/boxoffice.php
