It's just a jump to the left, and then a step to the right, before you start putting hands on hips and bending your knees, and all that malarkey.
But if you want to do The Timewarp, you must first get a ticket to see Richard O'Brien's musical theatre staple The Rocky Horror Show, which comes to Milton Keynes Theatre from Monday (July 25).
It is more than four decades since the story of Brad and his fiancee Janet was first aired.
The two squeaky college kids who meet Dr Frank 'n' Furter by chance when their car breaks down outside his house while they are en route to see their former college professor.
And so begins an adventure they will never forget, and it's one brimming with fun, frolics and frivolity.
It cleverly brings together science-fiction, horror, comedy and music, and it's one of those shows when you are warmly invited to do more than just show up, they want you to dress up too...
Not so much suited and booted, as in suspenders and heels, and that's just the fellas!
Over the years, Rocky Horror has attracted stars including Meatloaf, Russell Crowe and Jerry Springer to its fold.
In Milton Keynes, Christine and Neil Hamilton and Jonathan Wilkes are among the past narrators and stocking wearers!
This time around, the role of Janet is down to X Factor finalist Diana Vickers, who made the transition from show hopeful to singer with a number one single and album under her belt.
Since then, she has earned her stripes on the stage with roles in the West End delivery The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, and Duck House.
She bagged the Theatregoer's Choice Award 'London Newcomer of the Year' for her turn in the first mentioned.
S Club 7 fella Paul Cattermole enjoyed a return to the stage with his musical cohorts in 2015, when they reformed and came back with a sell-out S Club 7 tour, Bring it All Back 2015.
He takes the role of Dr Scott.
Liam Tamne is Frank N Furter and Norman Pace the Narrator.
Put it all together and you've got a cracking night that will raise the smiles and deliver the songs you love – Dammit Janet, Science Fiction/Double Feature, and of course The Time-Warp.
'Panto for grown-ups – colourful, in your face, relentlessly energetic and high on participation,' said The Times, while the Daily mail declared it to be 'so fast, so funny, so sexy.'
Beware the rude bits if you blush easily, and go get those tickets.
