Sell-outs at The Stables this week coming include warm-up dates for funny men Michael McIntyre and Lee Nelson, and a rip-roaring ride through Breaking Bad with LA actor Miles Allen.
One Man Breaking Bad: The Unofficial Parody Tour will smack the senses with his super-charged, crazily accurate renditions of all the characters you have lived with during the show's six season run. If you already have a ticket, of course.
Still, music fans can still look forward to a night in the company of Ian McCulloch on Friday night (March 6).
The Echo & the Bunnymen front man will be giving a rare solo performance with stripped down versions of classic Bunnymen tracks sitting alongside songs taken from his solo catalogue.
On Stage 2, Kit Holmes will let sultry vocals and virtuoso guitar playing lead the way. Expect blues-driven roots with a soul sensibility.
Dr Feelgood play for you on Saturday night (March 7). The stalwart rhythm n blues players now feature former Animal member Robert Kane on vocals, and go live after 8pm.
Richard Digance will take over on Sunday night with two hours of original material to deliver taken from a treasure chest of stories accumulated over more than four decades in the industry. Save for him and his guitar the stage will be empty.
Sometimes less is more...
World-renowned pianist Melvyn Tan performs as part of the Music in the Round season of events on Sunday afternoon.
He will dig into a programme comprising works by Bach, Field and Chopin, from 2.30pm.
On Sunday night, The Portraits and Minnie Birch will be at play in Stage 2.
The Portraits are hubby and wife team Jeremy and Lorraine Millington who do a mighty fine line in alt-folk, a fusion of music, theatre, jazz and classical styles, pulled together by some sweet harmony making.
Minnie Birch meantime, will make 'sad music that will make you happy.'
Fresh Cream (top) return on Tuesday evening (March 10), paying tribute to the music of Bruce, Baker and Clapton, and if anyone can do it, it's the late Jack Bruce's son Malcolm.
He will be joined by Will Johns, son of producer Andy Johns, and drummer Chris Page for a trip through tracks including Strange Brew, White Room and the obligatory I Feel Free.
On Stage 2 The Carrivick Sisters and Carboard Fox will go all bluegrass and folk with lots of multi-instrumental dexterity, tight sibling harmonies and finely crafted original songs.
The Tiger Lillies - Godfathers of alternative cabaret - bring their sinister side to the stage on Wednesday night as part of the tour, The Very Worst of The Tiger Lillies.
Front man Martyn Jacques went On Track with us and shared his musical likes and dislikes, which you can read here: http://www.totalmk.co.uk/on-track-martyn-jacques-from-the-tiger-lillies-answers-the-questions/
