MÓTUS has gone directly to the source by inviting Nikki O’Hara to lead a day’s workshop to help teachers of the new GCSE dance course.
Nikki has choreographed the set phrases which students need to learn as part of the new course and so will be able to give great hints and tips for learning and teaching them.
The event will take place on Tues 16th May from 10am – 3.30pm at Samuel Whitbread Academy.
The set phrases course will comprise of warm up/ build up exercises to introduce the movement vocabulary, followed by learning of 2-3 set phrases and 3 further motifs from each of the remaining phrase(s).
