Following a month of celebrating emerging and renowned fashion design talent at London Fashion Week, centre:mk is hosting the region’s biggest live fashion event, AW16 Live this weekend (Oct 1 & 2).
The showcase will be taking place on Saturday (11:00-17:00) and Sunday (12:00-16:00), with 15-20 minute fashion shows happening on the hour, every hour all weekend in Middleton Hall.
Now in its fourth year, this event will be showcasing the new season collections and key looks for AW16 for both womenswear and menswear.
More than 30 leading brands will be participating, including John Lewis, House of Fraser, M&S, River Island and Hobbs.
In addition, Ellie Stidolph, centre:mk Stylist at Large, whose clients include Ella Eyre and Niall Horan of One Direction, will be offering her fashion expertise to shoppers for a pop-up concept: ‘Off the Rails’ on Saturday 1st October from 11:15-16:45.
She will be picking her favourite pieces available in stores at centre:mk, demonstrating to shoppers how they can make the key looks for AW16 work for them.
Ellie will also reveal all on John Lewis’s first luxury label, Modern Rarity, which launched earlier this month at centre:mk.
“ I’m super excited to be working with centre:mk for AW16 Live; it’s a fantastic way to celebrate the best of the high street from both British and International retailers," Ellie said.
" I work with a variety of clients to make them look and feel amazing. This could be for a music video, photoshoot, red carpet appearance or a new holiday wardrobe.
"My goal is always to make my clients feel confident, comfortable and fabulous, so really looking forward to bringing this to shoppers in centre:mk this weekend and highlighting my top picks for the season,” she added.
A Beauty Box is being hosted too, with free hair and make-up tutorials over the two days for shoppers to pick up all the latest beauty tips for the season. The centre will be gifting shoppers with personalised centre:mk shopping bags to celebrate the AW16 Live in style.
