One of music's undisputed true originals, Van Morrison's matchless songwriting and vocal talents have seen him produce an incredible body of material throughout the course of his career - traversing British R&B, jazz, celtic and soul.
And, on Friday, August 31, Van will delve into his rich back catalogue for you, when he plays live at Wrest Park in Bedfordshire.
Born of Irish Showband instincts, the magic of the live performance has been a consistent feature of Morrison's career - which is 50 years long, and counting.
His talent has been recognised too - with awards and accolades including a Knighthood, a Brit, an OBE, an Ivor Novello, six Grammys, and an entry into The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
Van released his 37tyh studio album last year, so ticket-holders can expect a smattering of that too.
Special guests at the Wrest Park show will be folk-rock band The Waterboys, known for their Celtic-tinged hits including Fisherman's Blues and The Whole of the Moon.
Irish rockers Hothouse Flowers will open the show.
