This weekend, Xscape MK continues its exciting Unplugged campaign with pop-up aerobics.
The team at Nuffield Health will be running some guerrilla gym activities in the mall for all ages and all fitness levels to take part in from 11.30am, on the half hour every hour until 4pm. Time to get physical, folks!
The energetic event, including dance, aerobics and athletics, is being held to encourage the people of Milton Keynes to ditch their device and enjoy a digital detox by engaging in interesting and innovative activities this summer.
Visitors to Xscape during the past couple of weeks have so far enjoyed a pedal powered cinema, live music from local singing sensation Holly Brewer and pop-up ping pong, with Xscape’s eclectic range of retailers modelling the latest trends on the Fashion Unplugged catwalk still to come on August 22 and 23.
“We’re really excited to be a part of Xscape Unplugged,” said Craig Moores, deputy general manager of Nuffield Health, Milton Keynes.
“At Nuffield, we’re all about encouraging people to get active and take part in a new challenge or activity. This weekend’s pop-up aerobics sessions will be a great way for people to do just that and switch of their screens to get unplugged!”
Visitors can also download a free gym pass to enjoy access to Nuffield Health’s variety of facilities including a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and studio from the Nuffield Health website.
