Highly regarded local choir, the Danesborough Chorus, is on the lookout for new voices - sopranos, altos, tenors and basses.
Whether you're a skilled singer, keen amateur or star of Karaoke, you'll be warmly welcomed and have the opportunity to sing classical music from all eras to a high standard under the expert direction of our conductor, Ian Smith.
The choir boasts around 100 singers of all ages, who perform three concerts a year, mostly in the sublime acoustic of St Mary's Parish Church, Woburn, or sometimes presenting a large work in conjunction with other choirs in the exciting setting of Milton Keynes Theatre.
This autumn they'll be rehearsing Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle (which is mostly far from solemn!).
Sounds appealing? Then call membership secretary, Carol Yirrell on 01296 680328 or email danesboroughchorus@gmail.com. You can also find more details here
Rehearsals on Wednesdays, starting 4th September, 7.45 - 9.50 pm at Aspley Guise Village Hall.
