It's the most wonderful time of the year, and Milton Keynes Museum is pleased to announce that it has secured a visit from the biggest star of the season!
He is currently very busy in Lapland sorting presents for all the good boys and girls, but Father Christmas will be taking time out to meet youngsters in Milton Keynes before he heads off on his special night of gift giving.
The man in red will be in situ at the museum for the first three weekends in December.
“Inevitably we have had to make some changes this year,” said museum director Bill Griffiths, “We won't be able to have the usual Christmas carols in the parlour and associated activities for obvious reasons.
“Instead of using the farmhouse this time, Father Christmas will be meeting families in one of our new galleries which he will be using as his temporary workshop, and naturally we will be fully covid secure. A visit to Father Christmas will be different this year, but it will still be something really magical,” he promised.
“2020 has been extraordinary and very difficult for many families. This is a chance to make a happy memory, and we are absolutely thrilled that Father Christmas has chosen to come and spend time with us during his busiest period.”
