Do you want to build a snowman?
Bill Billings did.
Bill was an extraordinary character – lorry driver, poet, painter and community artist.
He created one of Milton Keynes’ most famous icons, the Dinosaur at Peartree Bridge, having earlier helped Liz Leyh make the Concrete Cows.
He was a master at creating concrete sculptures that were not only wonderful to look at but were also long lasting and durable.
This concrete snowman is sited at Milton Keynes Museum (where Living Archive MK is based) – and whilst you’re not allowed to climb on him, you are welcome to give him a hug!
