The wait is almost over - Revolución de Cuba will be fired-up for business on Friday - when it hosts its all-grand, all colourful launch party.
The spanking new rum bar and cantina will be nestled in the Theatre District, and promises to get everyone 'Havana' good time as soon as they set foot through the doors.
A team of samba girls will welcome visitors and say 'Hola,'and a classic Cuban car will add va-va-vroom to the show, which will be buzzing with authentic Cuban drummers and live music from a full Samba band.
It's fair to say that you can shake your maracas through to the early hours if you so wish!
A Latin dance show will figure, salsa dancing lessons will be offered and if you link up, you could be a part of the longest conga line ever seen in town.
You'll want to raise a glass to the new venue of course, and RDC has quite the drinks menu to choose from, with artisan cocktails, flavoured tequilas and rum punch. Best book a cab to see you safely home, folks.
And visitors won’t have to wait until the evening to sample some of the delights on offer at RDC.
On the contrary: “We have created a warm and welcoming environment where customers can relax and enjoy a coffee during the day, which later transforms into a more vibrant bar when the sun goes down,” manager Rob Macdonald told Total MK.
“Whether you want to salsa to live music, try new speciality beers or enjoy a full-on feast with friends, this is the place where you can kick back, loosen up and enjoy the good things in life.”
“We can’t wait to finally open the doors and let people experience everything we have been building up to for the past few months; we know they are going to love it!”
