Formed by Chris Robin Davy and Freddy Armstrong at the beginning of 2018, So So Sun are an ambient, experimental duo from South East England.
The band was started as an outlet for them to create songs and ideas outside of the realms of acoustic music, whilst retaining the elements they enjoy - conceptual songwriting, heartfelt melodies and thoughtful, progressive structures.
After polishing off their two-track demo at Abbey Road studios, So So Sun are making strides in 2019.
They bring along a host of different instruments, and often cycle through many of them in just one track, whilst looping and re-looping through live digital software.
With picky guitars, floating horn lines, soaring synths, subtle samples and emotionally driven vocals, their vast and ever expanding influences are expressed through a powerful and unique experience.
