Give the kids a midweek treat - take them to Frosts Garden Centre on Wednesday (July 22) for some creative fun.
Children can paint their own jolly gnome before taking him home and letting him 'live' amongst the greenery of the garden.
A gnome disguise can also be created with a fun colouring in mask.
The session runs between 10am and 4pm and costs a 'gnome-inal' £5.99 per child.
Go on, Give a Gnome a Home!
> Why not combine the creative visit with a trip to the beach?
Frosts has opened up the undercover beach again for summer, so come rain or shine, you can feel the golden stuff between your tootsies.
Enjoy a morning or afternoon session with storytelling, beach games and carousel rides, as well as free time to play.
The sessions cost £4.99 per child and include unlimited fruit and squash - a lunchtime session costs a little more, but includes a children's lunchbox.
