Parents in Milton Keynes are being given the opportunity to take their children to a series of fun, free workshops at Pets at Home this half term, where attendees can learn fun facts about how to care for wildlife in their gardens and local area.
The Spring Spotters workshops run as part of the My Pet Pals Activity Club at Pets at Home in Milton Keynes.
Pets at Home colleagues, whose training is endorsed by City and Guilds, will be on hand from Saturday (May 28) to June 5 to share their knowledge on how to keep garden visitors, like wild birds and butterflies happy and healthy.
They will also run some fun, interactive activities to help kids learn to grow plants and make fun wildlife masks as well.
“With longer days and warmer weather, there will be much more wildlife activity in our parks and gardens over the next few months," said store manager, Kerrie Beckett.
“Our free workshop is a chance for the pet lovers of Milton Keynes to engage with our colleagues who will be able to offer tips and advice on how to spot and look after local wildlife, whilst making the workshop fun and interactive.”
After completing the workshops, each child will receive a Spring Spotters poster and stickers, along with everything they need grow, spot and encourage wildlife into their own gardens at home.
