Luminosity shines a light on Milton Keynes artists

 Gallery Live 2023 returns tomorrow (June 2), taking over the High Street in Stony Stratford to create one huge gallery space as part of the ‘Stony Live’ Music & Arts Festival.

The second annual event will boast more participating shops, a fantastic selection of artists and several more mini events have been added to this year's programme.

Artists showcasing their work in ‘Luminosity’ are Andrew Brown, Andy Simpson, Anna Li, Barry Blake, Bella Shelton, Chris Howard, Debra Danu Mathews, Gemma Lovell, Helen Taylor, Jenny Fisk, Jon Alibone, Karen Hiser, Kirstie North, Maarika Joemaa, Olivia Mansfield, Paul Rainey, Sally Luff, Sharon Douglas, Sharon Paulger, Steve Urwin, Trevor Jeavons and Victoria Holton

Visitors will be treated to an amusing walking art tour by local professional actor Tony Ffftch, a People’s Choice Ballot on the night and online, the opportunity to meet the artists, and opportunities to buy art and prints in the PopUp gallery.


You can visit ‘The Art Postcards Quarter’ in Timour Court and buy postcard collections from participants, and ‘Collections’ – a joint exhibition by Annabelle Shelton and Debra Danu Mathews -  will be held in the PopUp gallery inside Café Latte. You'll also be able to Meet the Maker at Adolpho Designs with Barry Blake.

Luminosity promises to be ambitious, dynamic, inclusive, and diverse with a myriad of talent from all over the area. it will run until June 11.
