PROJECT GALLERY EXHIBITION: CHRISTMAS CARD DESIGNS TO 'REFLECT THE FESTIVE MOOD'

The new exhibition at the Project Art Space launches on Friday (Dec 5) and features Christmas card designs by local primary school children. The youngsters have been taking part in the annual competition organised by City MPs Mark Lancaster and Iain Stewart and in partnership with local schools, to find designs to feature on the front of each MPs personal Christmas card for 2014. A team of volunteers is responsible for selecting the winning designs. This year the MPs asked school pupils to respond to the theme of ‘Concrete Cows – with a twist!’ “ said MK Gallery’s formal learning manager, Hannah Gaunt. We are looking forward to seeing the resulting designs, which will no doubt reflect the humour and imagination of the children, as well as the festive mood of the season.” The designs will be on display at the Project Space – located across Margaret Powell Square opposite MK Gallery, through to January 4, 2015. Admission is free.
