Meet the author: Matt Haig 'in conversation' in Milton Keynes

Join the WaterstonesMK team at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone on Thursday (July 12) for an evening in conversation with Matt Haig.

He will be talking about his new book 'Notes On A Nervous Planet'.

Following the discussion, there will be a chance for the audience to ask Matt questions, followed by the opportunity to buy books and get them signed.

Rates of stress and anxiety are rising on our fast, nervous planet.

We are more connected and yet feel more alone...How can we cope? Following on from Matt's acclaimed book 'Reasons To Stay Alive', 'Notes on a Nervous Planet' is a personal look at how to feel happy, human and whole in the 21st century.

Matt Haig is the number one bestselling author of 'Reasons to Stay Alive' and six highly acclaimed novels for adults, including 'How to Stop Time', 'The Humans' and 'The Radleys'.

As a writer for children and young adults he has won the Blue Peter Book Award, the Smarties Book Prize and been shortlisted three times for the Carnegie Medal. His work has been translated into over forty languages.

Tickets are £4, and available in both of our Milton Keynes stores. They can also be purchased online at waterstones.com/events
