Camphill Café to reopen its doors for lunches tomorrow

One of Milton Keynes’ ‘hidden gems’, Camphill Café  will reopen tomorrow (June 7) to serve homemade light lunches, cakes and refreshments.

The cafe is run by a dedicated residents’ team with a mixture of skills and abilities and staff.

Having waited for more than a year to reopen safely, the team have been busy “feeding the community” with a fantastic Camphill Meals on Wheels initiative, but as they return to a more ‘normal world’, they are thrilled to be reopening to the public.

To ensure the safety of staff and customers, things may be a little different. However, Camphill Cafés aim remains the same: creating a peaceful atmosphere accompanied by good food and first-class friendly service.

Customers will now also be able to purchase their delicious artisan bread, homemade preserves and honey in the café in a dedicated retail area to the left of the front door.

Along with other improvements, the team at Camphill MK has also relocated their Art & Craft Workshop to the shop site in Willen.

The new open studios will include a fantastic new Textile Workshop and a new Pottery Workshop next door.

The studios will, in time, allow visitors to meet their skilled Camphill crafters and view the range of unique handcrafts on sale.

The café opens at 10am for coffee and cakes, lunches between 12 noon and 2pm and afternoon refreshments from 2pm to 4pm.

Customers are advised to call to reserve Café tables for booking between 11.30am and 2pm by calling 01908 308738.
