LYDIA HOPES FOR A METEORIC RISE

Lydia Singer is releasing her debut single this weekend, and the 12-year-old Woburn based singer has high hopes for Meteor – she wants to take it into the Top 40 singles chart. To do that she will need a minimum of 4000 downloads during its week of release. It's a tall order, but Lydia is unfazed: “I'm unsigned, not an X Factor finalist or a teen boy with a guitar, but I've got a cracking song and a good voice to go with it.Just imagine if a 12-year-old unknown made it into the Top 40 charts...” she said. Meteor has certainly been penned by a man with pedigree – Rob Davis is also the man responsible for co-writing Kylie's smash hit Can't Get You Out of My Head. Meteor will be available on iTunes from Sunday, or text METEOR to 85888 Keep up to date with Lydia's musical adventures on Facebook – you'll find her at LydiaSingerHQ
