OAK COURT OPENS FOR BUSINESS AT INTU

On Friday  (June 3), the newly designed Oak Court area in intu Milton Keynes will open to the public for the first time with live jazz music and entertainment to get things underway.

The newly appointed Mayor of Milton Keynes, Councillor Steve Coventry has been invited to proceed with the official opening honours at 11am to mark the launch of the new space for local performers, artists, groups and entertainers to utilise, as well as for the public to enjoy.

This is a free to use area that we hope will attract musicians, dance groups, theatre performers, artists, fitness classes – anything that brings entertainment to the centre,” says Shelley Peppard, general manager at intu Milton Keynes.

She adds: “The stage area is ideal for creating a central focus for anyone in the community wanting to perform to a large and diverse audience and the surrounding landscaped area is perfect for families to enjoy.”

Good Time Jazz will perform from 11am until 3pm and entertainment for children will be provided throughout the day including giant topple blocks, colouring activities and appearances from intu Milton Keynes’ Bobby Bubbles.

Anyone interested in using the Oak Court stage area for free should email oakcourt@intu.co.uk
