Roswell perform for Forest Folk and Roots in Cranfield

Forest Folk and Roots host the return of contemporary folk/americana duo Roswell this week.

Friday 13th might be unlucky for some, but not these guys, who have been called back as headliners following a sterling support slot to Paul McClure in the bar.

Since their first gig together in March 2018, Roswell has gone on to win the Purbeck Rising 2018 competition, have their debut single 'Heaven Knows' selected for Fatea's Winter Showcase, and record their debut EP at the Roundhouse.

Jasmine and Zoë have been combining their love of intricate vocal harmonies and folk music since they met at an open mic in Ely and are planning an exciting 2019 and beyond - including working on their next release and appearing at festivals from Swanage to Switzerland.

Support is from Northamptonshire acoustic artist Velvet Engine.
Honest and heartfelt, yet timid and catchy - Velvet Engine exudes soft and soulful femininity.
With three EP's under her belt - 'Glimpse Of The Sun', 'This Old Hat, and 'Good People', Velvet Engine is part of a new breed of heart-warming alt-folk artists.
A pleasant reprise from the day’s tribulations …. these are the perfect sounds to have a cup-of-tea to!

Head to hosting venue The College Arms in Cranfield for 7.30pm.  The music goes live at 8pm.

Advance tickets are £10 (£5 for students) and are available direct from The College Arms or online here

Tickets on the door are £12 and £6
