Scouting For Girls announce Northampton Roadmender show

Two years after officially marking a decade since the release of Scouting For Girls’ unstoppable million-selling eponymous self-titled debut album, the band have announced the release of a brand new album ‘The Trouble With Boys’ for September 20 - and a mammoth UK tour will bring them to Northampton this winter.

Scouting For Girls also today announce a mammoth headline tour for Winter 2019.

‘The Trouble With Boys’ tour will see the band play legendary venues such as London Shepherds Bush Empire and Manchester Albert Hall.

During their last tour in 2017, Scouting For Girls played to more people than they’ve ever played to before, celebrating their 2007 debut album that went on to become triple platinum Number 1 and birthed the generation-bridging anthems of ‘She’s So Lovely’, ‘Elvis Aint Dead’ and ‘Heartbeat’.

“Touring is our very favourite aspect of being in this band," they said.

"Our 2017 anniversary tour was so incredible that we’re pulling out all the stops to beat it. We’ve got a handful of new tunes, some old fan favourites we haven’t played for years plus all the big singles. We can’t wait.”

Throughout Scouting For Girls’ immensely successful career they’ve sold over 1.5 million albums, two million singles, had four Brit Award nominations, an Ivor Novello nomination, had four top ten singles, sold-out Wembley Arena, The Royal Albert Hall and most recently sold-out The London Palladium and had a series of hit singles all of which were inescapable radio smashes.

Scouting For Girls play The Roadmender on November 25.
