Singer-songwriter Tracey Browne to play IF: Milton Keynes

Tracey Browne is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, session singer and producer from the North West of England; known for her live and recorded work with acclaimed British songwriter Thea Gilmore.

She has garnered praise from John Bramwell (I Am Kloot) and Janice Long (BBC Radio 2) and shared stages with Lindisfarne and Folk Award Nominees O'Hooley & Tidow, amongst a host of other independent artists.

The Doctrine of Song is her second solo studio album, produced by Nigel Stonier and Seadna McPhail and featuring vocal contributions from Thea Gilmore.

Completely independent, Tracey has been releasing her own music since 2001; this album includes personal stories of friends and family, with an eye on the political climate of recent years.

As always, human emotion and observations of life feature largely, all drawn together by Tracey's distinctive and warm vocal tone.

'As Far As The Heart Can See' is the lead single from the album, and will doubtless be one of the tracks picked for airing when she performs as part of the IF: Milton Keynes Festival on Sunday (July 22).
