102-year-old adrenalin junkie enjoys a birthday treat in Milton Keynes - an indoor skydive!

On Saturday (June 23) adrenaline-junkie 102 year old Eva Lewis from Hertfordshire took part in an incredible indoor skydive at iFLY Indoor Skydiving Milton Keynes.

Eva was fearless, flying several metres high in the wind-tunnel which circulates air into the flight chamber at around 110mph.

Eva was joined by three generations of her family, including her son Graham Lewis (75), granddaughters Dawn Lewis (47) and Sally Clarke (44) and her great-grandchild Felix Lewis (9).  They had organised the event as a treat for Eva's birthday.

Shane Evans, General Manager of iFLY Milton Keynes said: “It was fantastic to be able to make this indoor skydive possible for Eva’s very special birthday celebration. "Seeing Eva flying high at 102 along with her family shows how indoor skydiving can be a thrilling experience for all ages.”

Although this was the first time Eva had tried indoor skydiving, Eva is no stranger to thrill-seeking experiences.

For her 101st birthday, Eva Lewis enjoyed an acrobatic aeroplane flight in a Spitfire and for her 100th birthday she met the Queen!
