Thames Valley Police officers were called to Newport Pagnell this morning following reports that a firearm had been seen in a vehicle.
Officers stopped the vehicle in Pennycress Way.
No firearm was located, but four people were arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a class A drug.
They are currently in police custody.
