Police have closed off Watling Street in Bletchley and a forensic team is currently on the scene.
The road closure - by Matalan - has been in place for a number of hours.
One eye-witness told Total MK: "I saw at least three police cars and a couple of forensics working on the ground. Someone mentioned that it may have been a stabbling. Whatever has happened, the police look to have everything under control."
