Gung-Ho! is cancelled in Milton Keynes

Britain's biggest obstacle course - Gung-Ho! - has been cancelled in Milton Keynes.

The event made its MK debut last year and was expected to return at Willen Lake this July.

It had promised  ‘the toughest obstacle yet,' a 30m long, gauntlet-style Danger Zone joining inflatables including Europe’s tallest inflatable slide – the 72ft high, 200ft long Thriller.

But in a statement to Total MK, organisers confirmed the event won't be going ahead.

A  spokesman said: "It is with great regret that we have had to cancel our Gung-Ho! event in Milton Keynes due to logistical and organisational circumstances beyond our control.

"After having such a fantastic time bringing our giant inflatables to Milton Keynes last year, we are absolutely gutted that we won't be able to bring the fun back in 2017.

"Anyone who has bought a ticket will receive a full refund, while we will be offering them the chance to take part in any other of our Gung-Ho! events for a reduced rate.

"We are sorry we won't be there in 2017, but hope to return to Milton Keynes in 2018 to put on our very biggest and best event yet."
