Man chased and hit with bat during attack in Milton Keynes beauty spot

Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was hit with a bat during an attack in a local wood.

At around 4.15pm on Sunday (July 19), an 18-year-old man was assaulted by an offender in Howe Wood Park in Tattenhoe.

The victim was chased and hit several times with a rounders bat, resulting in serious injuries to his elbow that required treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Investigating officer PC Lee Newton, based at Milton Keynes Police station said: “This incident took place in a park where others were present and may have witnessed it.

> A 16 year old boy from Stoleford Rise in Milton Keynes was arrested on suspicion of assault with injury and has since been released on bail until 7 August 2020.
