Milton Keynes MP welcomes funding for city schools

Mark Lancaster, the MP for Milton Keynes North, has welcomed £3,816,287 of funding from the Government for maintaining and improving school buildings in the city.

Money from the £433 million Condition Improvement Fund will go to Olney Middle School, Shenley Brook End School, Knowles Primary School and Denbigh School.

The funding is to make sure school buildings in Milton Keynes are maintained and improved so children get off to the best start in buildings fit for purpose for the future.

“I’ve always fought for fair funding for our schools in Milton Keynes which is why I’m so pleased to see this major investment in our local schools from the Government," Mark said.

“I’m committed to making sure our schools are in the best condition for children to learn the knowledge and skills they will use for the rest of their lives.”
