FESTIVE ROAD IS LOOKING FOR SOME GIANT SUPPORT - CAN YOU HELP?

The clock is ticking and it's almost time for Festive Road's annual Walking with Giants event, which will be snaking a superb trail through the heart of Central Milton Keynes on Sunday, July 5.

In preparation of the big adventure, Festive Road is asking for volunteers to come and make some amazing puppets that will be used in our procession.

They are on the hunt for 'Giant' creators to make hands, heads and arms. To carve, paint and glue, to bend, mould and sew.

So how about it?

You don’t need to be an artist or an engineer - just someone who wants to roll up their sleeves and get satisfaction from building something the spectators, and your family, can enjoy on the day of the parade.

A workshop is being held on Saturday (June 27), and to show their gratitude, organisers will provide a light lunch.

Alternatively, step up for the Mas Camp running Monday, June 29th to Friday, July 3rd (10am - 3pm daily).

These Camps are great for businesses as part of their CSR programmes or team building; It’s great fun and something you don’t get to take part in every day,” organisers say.

You can plump to partake for the whole week, or just for a day or two.

All the creators and builders can take part on the day and be among the 500 walking in the Parade from Midsummer Boulevard to Campbell Park.

All workshops and Mas Camps are held at Centric MK, Linford Wood, Milton Keynes, MK14 6GE
