More than 550 Santas descend on Milton Keynes for the annual Santa Dash

More than 550 Santas descended on Willen Lake on Sunday (December 16) for the annual Willen Hospice Santa Dash.

The event saw people of all ages and more than 50 dogs, run, jog or walk around Willen Lake to support their local charity.

The event has raised over £7,500 so far, which will support the hospice to provide compassionate, specialist end-of-life care to people in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Tracey Jago, senior events fundraiser at Willen Hospice, said: “I would like to thank everyone who took part and made it such an incredible morning. There was a brilliant atmosphere down at the lake and most importantly, those who supported us have helped us raise a fantastic amount for their local Hospice.”

Willen Hospice needs to raise £9 every minute of the year from the local community. Events like Santa Dash are just one of the ways people can support the Hospice.
