Police appeal after man is robbed at knifepoint in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Milton Keynes.

Between 5.45pm and 6pm yesterday (Wednesday) the victim, a man in twenties, was near the junction of Ambergate, at London Road and Tanfield Lane.

He was approached by two men from the London Road direction and one of them put his hands in the victim’s pocket from behind him while the other showed the victim a knife.

The offenders stole a mobile phone.

The first offender is described as in his twenties and was wearing a black baseball cap and a shiny top, the second was a similar age and was wearing a white t-shirt.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Kerry Mitchell based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “This was a very distressing incident for the victim.

“We would like to speak to anyone who has information or saw what happened yesterday afternoon.
