Mamma Mia! the musical makes it's Milton Keynes debut

Now here's a show for the Dancing Queen's (and Kings) among you!

Mamma Mia!, the UK Tour arrvies at Milton Keynes Theatre from Tuesday (May 2) and it'll settle in for a nice run too - all the way to May 20.

Organisers say ticket-holders should prepare to be ABBA-solutely amazed!

Mamma Mia! is Judy Craymer’s ingenious vision of staging the story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs with an enchanting tale of family and friendship unfolding on a Greek island paradise.

To date, it has been seen by more than 60 million people in 50 productions in 16 different languages.

The movie is the highest worldwide grossing live-action musical film of all time.

From the West End to global phenomenon, the London production of Mamma Mia! has now been seen by more than 10% of the entire UK population, which is pretty incredible.

It is one of only five musicals to have run for more than 10 years both on Broadway and in the West End, and in 2011, became the first Western musical ever to be staged in Mandarin in the People’s Republic of China.

"It's thrilling to be bringing MAMMA MIA! the much loved musical, to Milton Keynes for the first time," said Judy.

"It's a wonderful night out, with a sunny, feel-good story and the irresistible songs of ABBA. We can't wait to share the fun with Milton Keynes."
