The atmosphere of Advent - the season of hope and expectation - will be wonderfully evoked in a beautiful candlelit service at the Church of Christ the Cornerstone this weekend.
Sunday's carol service (December 4) will feature passages of scripture, poetry and prose, and musical settings from five centuries.
There will be a freewill offering, and the service begins at 6pm.
